TYNTE LODGE FLY HIGH FOR CHARITY
Tynte Lodge (Bridgwater) yesterday presented the magnificent total of £1430 to the (DSAA) Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance at their meeting on April 18th. This comprised £1,000 from Lodge funds and a magnificent £430 from those present, including one private donation of £100.
DSAA’s Fundraising Manager, Emma Jones, gave a very interesting and informative presentation on the work of the Air Ambulance with an ideal balance of humour and gravity. This was extremely well received by members of all three Bridgwater Lodges together with many ladies, all of whom subsequently enjoyed the customary revelry of the Tynte Lodge Festive Board.
